Today I wanted to focus on kitchens and what type of window treatment looks great in them. My pick today is roman shades! I know you’re probably thinking that’s odd because, most of the time you wouldn’t think of a roman shade. However, in a kitchen window but it can really look fantastic if the right fabric and style are chosen correctly! The popular print at the moment is pattern with geometric shapes and sizes. A few years ago it was all about flowers and natural prints but now it’s taken a more contemporary flair which I just LOVE. How about you? Here are a few inspirational photos when you’re thinking of what to pick for your kitchen.

Side note: The roman shade should go about 6” above the window to create a high ceiling illusion unless the window has enough depth for the roman shade to be an inside mount.

Happy Monday!
