In this bedroom our challenge was two fold:

A.  Hide the ugly window behind the bed

B.  Sound Control from the noisy neighbors

 

What I decided to to do make this happen was to drape the back wall to hide the windows completely and keep the elegance in the room.  As you can see from this photo that we accomplished that misson!  The trick is to blackout line the drapery so all of the light is blocked out and no one would know there were windows back there.  The client was going to have her contractor remove the windows completely or just put a board up, but we solved the problem without doing that.  For the sound control, we interlined the drapery with bump interning and with the  combination of blackout lining, the room was very calming.  The client is thrilled beyond words.  The room is gorgeous!
