Roman shades are some of our favorite shades to design. They’re sleek, sexy, and some may even call them edgy. One of our current favorite ways to design them is to band the leading edge with a complimentary fabric. This creates that dimension to your roman shades more than just leaving them a solid color or a print. The banding can either be done on the leading edge of the shade or as an inset banding which is approx. 2” from outside edge towards inside of the shade. Here in custom land roman shade world, you also have this thing we like to call, options galore. We can do the banding on all the edges or just the sides or even add the valance with an edge banding. Designing these roman shades is too much fun! Now is it time to get edgy on those shades?
