What fabric is best for drapery in a sunny Los Angeles room?
For rooms that get strong, direct Los Angeles sun, a tighter weave and a lining rated for UV resistance help the fabric hold its color and structure longer. Jacoby Company can recommend fabric and lining combinations suited to a specific room's light exposure during your consultation.
Do you offer motorized drapery?
Yes. Jacoby Company fits custom drapery to motorized tracks for rooms where a remote, app, or smart-home schedule is more convenient than pulling drapery by hand - common in large windows, high or hard-to-reach tracks, and media rooms.
Can custom drapery help block outside noise?
A heavier drapery fabric with proper lining reduces some airborne noise and softens hard-surface echo in a room, though it is not a substitute for soundproof windows on a busy street. Jacoby Company can suggest fabric weights suited to noise-sensitive rooms.
