We go into many houses where new parents are trying to decide on what kinds of window treatment to use. What is important to keep in mind are cords that dangle from the window treatment. For example, wood blinds normally come with  a long string that hangs down the side of the treatment so you can open and close it. We highly recommend using shutters, cordless roman shades or cordless duette shades in all baby rooms. It is important to plan for your child’s safety! Going cordless or doing shutters are the very BEST option for a child’s room! Have fun planning!
