Summer is almost here…as are our family BBQ’s and special events. There is no need to buy a new set just because the fabric is old and tattered…we can recover them! The drapery panels (if you have that room to install the hardware), really adds an exquisite touch to the outdoor atmosphere. Throw in a few candles scattered around, twinkling lights on the umbrella, fresh flowers planted in the garden and maybe even pick up a “zen” type water feature, and wa la, you now have a backyard that you can be proud of and enjoy.
We are all entertaining more at home these days, or at least it seems that way. So, why not make that space as special as you would the inside of your home. Once I am done decorating the backyard, all you need are your friends, great music, light the candles and open up your favorite bottle of wine or sparking water with lime, and away you go.
